PETALING JAYA: The prospects for oil and gas (O&G) service providers remain strong given that the high price of crude oil is expected to spur oil majors to embark on exploration and production (E&P) activities and boost demand for equipment and services.
An analyst at Aseambankers said he did not see the recent correction in oil price leading to a reduction in E&P activities since the current price of crude was “still substantially above production cost''.
