THE fifth and last development corridor was launched yesterday. Called the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (Score), it stretches 320km from Tanjung Manis to Similajau and includes the hinterland.
The development corridor, which could see the creation of 1.5 million new jobs by 2030 and gross domestic product per capita grow by 5.5% a year, encompasses a whole range of industries, from downstream oil-based production and aquaculture to aluminium smelting and specialised glass making.
