Higher investment income for EPF

PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund has reported an investment income of RM17.7bil for last year, representing an increase of 23.54% over RM14.33bil in 2006. 

Net income for the year was RM16.88bil after deducting dividends for withdrawals, investment expenses, operational expenses, death and incapacitation payments and allowances for diminution in value of investments and losses.
