PETALING JAYA: The KL Composite Index may reach 1,500 points within the first quarter and possibly around 1,600 points by year-end, supported by palm oil and telecommunications-related stock performances, says Citi Investment Research.
Its director and head of Malaysia Research, Asia Pacific Equity Research, Choong Wai Kee, said the palm oil sector was unique to Malaysia while there had been notable developments in the telco sector.
