PETALING JAYA: After briefly shooting past US$100 a barrel at around midnight Thursday Malaysian time, crude oil price in New York trading once more flirted with the key trading level in overnight trade.
From the high of US$100.09, the benchmark Nymex crude oil one-month futures moderated to about 30 US cents above US$99 a barrel before weakening in the late afternoon and was at US$98.89 a barrel by 5pm Malaysian time.
