TOKYO: Japanese share prices, reeling from the first annual decline in five years, face an uphill battle in the new year to rebound amid lingering jitters over the US subprime loan crisis, analysts said.
Exporters, in particular, could suffer if the US dollar weakened against the yen due to nervousness about the global economic climate, they warned.
