SHANGHAI: China's three biggest insurers are expected to invest more than 10 billion yuan (US$1.34bil) each in a new state-controlled company that will build the country's high-speed railway from Beijing to Shanghai, sources said yesterday.
The insurers were Ping An Insurance (Group) Co of China Ltd, PICC Property and Casualty Co Ltd and China Life Insurance Co Ltd, they said.
