LONDON (AP) - European stocks slid for a third trading day Monday, as fears of a slowing U.S. economy continued to drag on corporate profits.
The U.K.'s FTSE 100 Index closed 1.1 percent lower at 6,459.30, while France's CAC-40 Index dropped 1.6 percent to 5,647.83.
