Petaling Jaya: Ever-Pro Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Ni Hsin Corp Bhd's Buffalo brand cookware in Malaysia, is targeting RM10mil turnover for the financial year ending 2008 with the opening of its first three retail concept stores - "Buffalo Lifestyle Corner" - in the nation on Monday.
"We will be opening another store in Taman Maluri, Cheras, by the end of October," said deputy general manager Joshua Ong during the launch of its premier Buffalo lifestlye corner at Petaling Jaya on Monday.
He added that the same retail concept store was being launched in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur, on the same day.
He said that the company aimed to open another five stores in USJ, Puchong, Damansara, Klang, and Jalan Ampang by June next year.
"The estimate total investment for the whole project of Buffalo retailing concept stores is RM3mil. We plan to open another 17 similar concept stores in Penang, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak by 2009," Ong said.
He added that the company has allocated approximate RM100,000 to RM150,000 per month for advertising and promotional activities for all products under the Buffalo brand.
