PETALING JAYA: The KL Composite Index (KLCI) plunged 2.8% yesterday as a fresh round of selling compounded by the lack of buying interest dragged prices lower across the board.
Dealers said local sentiment was rattled by continued sharp declines overseas, with Indonesian stocks the worst hit followed by the Philippine bourse.
