KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's central bank is confident that there is sufficient liquidity in the financial system to withstand any external shocks arising from the US subprime mortgage crisis.
It would not be necessary to inject any liquidity into the financial system Governor, Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz said yesterday, adding that the central bank had the capacity to provide the liquidity should the need arise.
