Number of second boarders declining

The number of second board companies on Bursa Malaysia has dropped to 238 from 297 which was the highest recorded in 2000.  

Similarly, initial public offers (IPOs) on the second board are also shrinking. So far this year, only five companies made their debut compared to eight last year and 17 the year before.
