KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd plans to spend about RM10bil building six power plants, including hydroelectric and coal-fired generators, to triple supply in eight years.
Sarawak Energy wants to add 2,000 megawatts (MW) of generating capacity by 2015 to the current 966MW, group managing director Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Husain said in an interview.
