SUNNYVALE, California (AP): Yahoo Inc. named veteran telecommunications executive Maggie Wilderotter as a director Friday, the first addition to the slumping Internet icon's board since co-founder Jerry Yang took over as chief executive officer last month.
Wilderotter currently is chairman and CEO of Stamford, Connecticut-based Citizens Communications Co., which provides telephone and Internet service in more than 20 states.
