Ayer Hitam using land for property

KUALA LUMPUR: The Ayer Hitam Planting Syndicate Bhd is looking at converting its “historical” oil palm plantations to property development projects. 

Chief executive officer Yong Yoong Fa said there was a need to re-focus on optimising the potential benefits from the group’s existing plantations. Ayer Hitam celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
