In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, the investment bank said it was offering 120 million CNOOC warrants, 120 million Aluminium Corp warrants and 100 million China Shenhua warrants to Malaysian and foreign investors.
The non-collateralised American-style cash settled call warrants were expected to list on the stock exchange at the end of this month, it added.
MDV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Minister of Finance Inc, had so far disbursed RM2.4bil in loans, managing director and chief executive officer Md Zubir Ansori Yahaya said.
Speaking yesterday at the launch of the MDV Small Contract Financing for small and medium technopreneurs, he said the company had also collected RM700mil in repayments from existing borrowers since February. – Bernama
