Raya Intan signs to buy only legal and certified timber

KUCHING: Outdoor furniture manufacturer Raya Intan Sdn Bhd is the first company in Sarawak to participate in the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Malaysia Forest and Trade Network (MFTN) for responsible purchasing of timber. 

The company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with WWF-Malaysia on Saturday, signalling its commitment to purchase only legal and certified timber which has been audited by a third party.
