Bursa reviewing audit committee structure

PETALING JAYA: Bursa Malaysia is scrutinising the composition of audit committees of companies with a view to ensure that only independent directors sit on the committees. 

Sources indicated that the structure of audit committees was being reviewed at the exchange level after which consultations would be held with the Securities Commission.
