KUALA LUMPUR: Transmile Group Bhd, which is finalising its financial statements for fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2006, aims to issue them by the end of the month, it told Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
On May 7, Transmile's external auditors Deloitte & Touche informed the former it had not been able to obtain relevant supporting documentation from the management on certain transactions to enable them to ensure the fairness or validity of those transactions. On the same day, the Transmile board appointed Moores Rowland Risk Management Sdn Bhd to carry out a special audit review.
