VW wants firm commitment

PETALING JAYA: Volkswagen has indicated to Malaysia that it wants a firm and irrevocable commitment in relation to its strategic alliance with Proton Holdings Bhd. 

“It has indicated that it is here to stay (if the talks materialise), and that once they step in, there will be no turning back,” a source told StarBiz. “And that is what the Government side wants to hear too.”
