DNC Asiatic expects 50% increase in Demak motorcycle sales

KUCHING: Sarawak-based DNC Asiatic Holdings Sdn Bhd, the manufacturer of local motorcycle brand Demak, is projecting a 50% increase in sales this year from 12,000 units last year, especially from the regional market. 

Chairman Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said the Malaysia-China joint venture company was confident of capturing a substantial portion of the regional market with the setting up of two assembly plants in Manila and Zamboanga in the Philippines and another one in Pontianak, West Kalimantan.
