PETALING JAYA: Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd
expects the price of its key dairy raw material to rise this year on lower production and increased demand, but maintains that it can minimise the effects through continuous innovation.
Managing director Hans Laarakker said the dairy company forecast the price of skimmed milk powder, its main raw material, to go up to as much as US$4,500 per tonne from US$2,300 per tonne currently.
