PETALING JAYA: Prices of Bursa Malaysia-listed plantation stocks are expected to continue heading north in the second half of the year, given that crude palm oil (CPO) has been trading above RM2,000 per tonne over the past two months.
Most stockbroking houses are maintaining an overweight stance on the sector and raising their earlier CPO average price estimates to RM2,200 per tonne in 2007 and RM2,500 in 2008.
