PUTRAJAYA: The lifting of the foreign shareholding limit on Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) will not jeopardise government control over the power utility as it will continue to have a golden share in the company.
Instead, the move was a positive one as it would attract more foreign investors, president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh told reporters after presenting the TNB Safety Excellence Management Systems and Environmental Awards 2006 yesterday.
