O&G support firms to gain from oil pipeline

PETALING JAYA: Local oil and gas (O&G) support companies will be major beneficiaries of the US$7bil Kedah-Kelantan crude oil pipeline project.

Analysts concur that the pipeline project from Yan to Bachok – confirmed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi yesterday – would have a positive spillover effect on stocks like Wah Seong Corp Bhd, UMW Holdings Bhd, KNM Group Bhd, Dialog Group Bhd, Tanjung Offshore Bhd and Ramunia Holdings Bhd.
