PUTRAJAYA: The lifting of foreign shareholding limits in Tenaga Nasional Bhd will not jeopardise the government's control over the power utility as it will continue to have a golden share in the company.
Instead, the move to lift the limits was a positive one "as it would attract more foreign investors," TNB president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh told reporters after presenting the TNB Safety Excellence Management Systems and Environmental Awards 2006, earlier today.
