VIENNA, Austria (AP): Austria's OMV energy concern and Iranian officials have signed a memorandum foreseeing OMV's possible participation in developing Iran's Pars gas fields and related projects, OMV said Saturday.
In an e-mailed statement, OMV said the "Heads of Agreement'' memorandum also leaves open the possibility that the Austrian company will cooperate in building a liquifying plant for Iranian natural gas and become a customer for such liquefied natural gas.
