Woman police inspector charged with accepting bribe

BUTTERWORTH: A woman police inspector was charged in a Sessions Court here with allegedly accepting a bribe of RM5,000 to help settle a rape case. 

Insp Azizah Othman, 42, claimed trial to committing the offence at the second floor of the Central Seberang Prai district police headquarters in Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam, between 6.20pm and 6.50pm on June 16 last year.
