KOTA BARU: The Kelantan state government has launched an e-payment and an e-complaint online service for local government services in Kelantan.
The service was developed with a local information technology (IT) firm called Three Tier Technology Sdn Bhd and it can be accessed by www.kelantan.gov.mywith immediate effect.
According to State Finance Planning committeechairman Datuk Husam Musa, the services showcases that Kelantan is equally capable of producing technology savvy services similar to other states.
"We have taken the lead which is similar to other programmes introduced in the state such as opening a school of animination and the social welfare scheme for the old called Takaful Kifalah."
Husam, who launched the service with State Secretary Datuk Mohd Aiseri Alias, said the service enables ratepayers in Kelantan to settle their local government dues such as assessments online besides registering complaints related to local governmentservices.
He promised that the state will respond to queries lodged by ratepayers including issues of poor services.
