PENANG: The next time you buy a new car check the spare tyre to ensure it is the same size as the standard tyre.
This is because certain car manufacturers are giving away temporary use tyres (TUST) which are smaller than normal tyres and could cause accidents if instructions were not followed, according to the Consumers Association of Penang.
