UEM World posts net profit of RM196.5mil

PETALING JAYA: UEM World Bhd has returned to the black with a net profit of RM196.5mil for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2006 against a loss of RM216.9mil in 2005. 

Group revenue jumped 47% to RM4.8bil from RM3.3bil previously, exceeding its key performance indicators (KPI) revenue growth target of 36%, the company said in a statement yesterday.
