PETALING JAYA: Malaysia is considering raising the limit on voting rights for foreign investors in state-controlled companies after Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), the nation’s largest company, approached the threshold.
The Government was “looking at” raising the limit, Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop told reporters yesterday. “We will look at it for all” government-linked companies, he said.
