KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz is confident of maintaining its position as a top-selling luxury car brand this year. 

DaimlerChrysler Malaysia Sdn Bhd sales and marketing vice-president Florian Mueller said while 2006 had been a challenging year for the company as well as the industry, times were looking better this year.
