China-Japan-South Korea meeting: The sixth trilateral policy dialogue meeting among intellectual property rights (IPR) authorities from China, Japan and South Korea was held on Dec 4 in Beijing.
Officials from the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), Japanese Patent Office (JPO) and Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) stressed that the three countries should strengthen IPR co-operation and agreed that effective IPR protection is vital for promoting technological progress and improving investment environment.
