Conference on Malaysia-Singapore cooperation

PETALING JAYA: The London Business School Alumni Club Malaysia (LBS Alumni) will be hosting a regional conference to enhance economic cooperation between Malaysia and Singapore. 

Themed Malaysia-Singapore Businesses, Expanding in Asia: New Challenges and Opportunities, the conference will have Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his counterpart Wong Kan Seng as joint keynote speakers. 

LBS Alumi president Datuk Mohamed Saufi Abdullah said it was the second time the alumni was organising such a conference. 

“Malaysian and Singaporean companies should take this opportunity to come together and clinch global business opportunities, not as competitors but as partners,” he said in a statement. 

Saufi added that the conference would be held on Nov 27 in Kuala Lumpur.
