PETALING JAYA: The World MBA Tour is offering over US$2.7mil (RM9.9mil) in exclusive scholarships to visitors of its business school fairs held in 40 countries, including Malaysia.
The largest international programme of business school fairs comes to Kuala Lumpur this Friday enabling fair visitors to vie for the scholarships.
The World MBA Tour is the primary recruitment tool for the world’s leading business schools, and has been touring the globe now for 12 years.
The Kuala Lumpur World MBA fair, to be held at the Westin Kuala Lumpur, gives prospective MBA candidates the opportunity to meet business school admission officers from around the world.
Participating American schools include Columbia, Chicago and Darden, and European schools include Instituto de Empresa, ESADE, IMD.
Visitors will be able to obtain information on school programme content, costs, programme duration, financial aid and post-qualification career options.
“This event is designed to inform and encourage candidates to ask questions, enter into discussion with alumni and admissions directors, and gain personal advice based on their own experience and ambitions,” said QS World MBA Tour director Nunzio Quacquarelli.
The schools offering scholarships include Wharton, Chicago, IE, Ashridge, Nijenrode and MIP Politecnico di Milano. There are also six QS scholarships worth US$21,000.
