Australian PM to speak at joint business conference

PETALING JAYA: Australian Prime Minister John Howard will address some 600 business delegates at the upcoming Eighth Joint Business Conference organised by the Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) and its Australian counterpart, the Australia Malaysia Business Council (AMBC). 

MABC chairman Datuk Mohamed Zain Mohamed Yusuf said Howard's keynote address would complement the conference theme: Malaysia Australia: New Business Opportunities under Malaysia Australia Free Trade Agreement (Mafta) and the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP).
