PETALING JAYA: Shares on Bursa Malaysia rallied yesterday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) posting its biggest single day advance since Jan 5 to close above the 1,000-point level for the first time in more than six years.
“We are seeing renewed interest in a number of big companies and this lifted sentiment in the market,” a head of research at a local brokerage said.
