Genting shares up on higher bid


PETALING JAYA: Genting Bhd’s share price jumped 80 sen, or 3.2%, to RM25.50 yesterday after Harrah’s Entertainment Inc raised its cash offer price for London Clubs International plc’s (LCI) shares to 135 pence per share from 125 pence on Friday. 

Yesterday was the first trading day of this week as the stock market was closed for the Deepavali and Hari Raya celebrations.
