PETALING JAYA: Local equity researchers believe that the current market conditions are conducive for investing in selected stocks going into 2007, but at the same time said it would be “difficult” for the KL Composite Index (KLCI) to breach 1,000 points this year.
They advised buying into stocks with strong fundamentals, with a K&N Kenanga analyst saying there is “not much point” speculating on stocks that do not have strong fundamentals or room for growth.
