LionFIB raises payout to RM2 a share

PETALING JAYA: In a surprising turn of events, Lion Forest Industries Bhd (LionFIB) has proposed to increase its capital repayment to RM2 cash a share from RM1.20 proposed earlier.  

The cash for this capital distribution will come from the sale of its entire 97.78% stake in Sabah Forest Industries Sdn Bhd (SFI) for RM944.8mil.
