SINGAPORE: Singapore created 36,400 new jobs in the second quarter, bringing the total number of jobs created in the first half to a record high, the Manpower Ministry said in a report yesterday.
The unemployment rate at the end of the second quarter was a revised 2.8%, the ministry said. The preliminary forecast in July gave a rate of 2.9%.
