SINGAPORE: The creation of new financial instruments for emerging markets is among the issues to be discussed at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group 2006 meetings that start today.
Another issue is adapting IMF’s surveillance to allow it to be more effective in managing financial risks and economic growth.
