> AIRASIA BIDS FOR KL-SINGAPORE ROUTE: AirAsia Bhd has made a bid to ply the lucrative Kuala Lumpur-Singapore route and expects to launch flights by early 2007, chief executive Tony Fernandes said.        

He said AirAsia was planning 20 flights daily to start “in the next six months” on the near hour-long route.
