Naza gets land to assemble cars in India


KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Automotive Manufacturing Sdn Bhd has been allocated a 69.6ha site in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai, by the Tamil Nadu government for the setting-up of a RM950mil assembly plant for Naza and Kia vehicles, Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said. 

He said a memorandum of understanding between the Naza Group of Companies and the Tamil Nadu government is expected to be signed on Sept 11.
