KUALA LUMPUR: Shared services and outsourcing (SSO) companies operating in Malaysia generated RM2.6bil in revenue last year, up 30% from the year before.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz said there were 48 SSO companies as at end-2005, mainly operating in the Multimedia Super Corridor, and they provided some 12,000 high value-added jobs.
