LONDON (AP) - European shares edged higher Thursday helped by lower oil prices.Britain's FTSE 100 index closed up 0.1 percent at 5,900; the German DAX Xetra 30 gained 0.4 percent to 5,833 and the French CAC-40 index advanced 0.2 percent to 5,144.
The pan-European Dow Jones Stoxx 600 index moved 0.1 percent higher at 331.84, as resource stocks and technology shares lent support.
