SHAH ALAM: Worldwide Holdings Bhd is looking at a new income stream via the sale of carbon emission reduction (CER) certificates to industrialised countries through a clean development mechanism programme from its Air Hitam sanitised landfill near Puchong, said managing director Datuk Ibrahim Md Yusof.
The project would be jointly carried out by subsidiary Worldwide Landfills Sdn Bhd and its Dutch partner Ecair Malaysia BV, he told a media briefing yesterday.
