KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd
’s (Maybank) decision to impose RM2 fee for over-the-counter (OTC) cash withdrawals is part of its ongoing effort to encourage the use of self-service machines wherever possible.
The fee would be applicable for OTC cash withdrawals of RM4,500 and below, for selected account categories effective Sept 1, it said in a statement yesterday.
