PETALING JAYA: The two large infrastructure projects that are needed in Penang and approved by the Cabinet yesterday will stimulate renewed growth in the construction industry.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced yesterday the Cabinet made a decision to go ahead with the Second Penang Bridge and Penang Monorail projects, and that the Government viewed positively a recent proposal for a high-speed rail service between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
